Software Engineer. Fitness Enthusiast. Photographer.
I'm Jake Sandler. I spent twelve years at Johns Hopkins APL, moving from assembling flight electronics to writing inspection and automation software, and I now build applied machine learning and computer vision tools. Fitness is a big part of my life and of my photography, which also includes portraits, events and travel.

About
Background
I started in electronics manufacturing at Johns Hopkins APL and, over twelve years, moved into writing the software the lab used to inspect its hardware. That work involved lighting, lenses, focus and color, all of which carried over to photography.
I'm currently looking for my next engineering role and am open to remote work.
